DIXIE PIX

After retiring from Public Service with the State of Tennessee, I begin to hunt my nitch. I loved graphic design, equine events and photography.

Upon creating a draft mule magazine, I soon discovered taking good photos of mules was an art and one I soon accomplished. The rest is history ....

The magazine, Dixie Longears, has grown into a publication that promotes the draft mule across the United States. The photography nitch has grown into a business all it's own known as Dixie Pix.

With the help of two friends, we attend events (ranging from one day to a week long), capture memories of those attending, display the photos during the events and folks order their favorites.

This photo not only captured the excitement of this race, but answered many questions for the race team, as they wondered how the wagon cleared them without major injury.
